At Catholic Healthcare we are shining a 'light' on our people and the exceptional work they are all doing across our services. We share how our teams are innovating, engaging and helping to support the needs of our residents, clients and patients.
This week, meet Kelly Howarth, Administration Officer for Home & Community Services, Bathurst.
Kelly’s role involves supporting Home Care’s Regional and Business Managers, Team Leaders, Care Advisors, Community Care Workers, clients and their families with administrative support and customer engagement for the Central West, Southern Highland and Riverina Murray areas.
She’s a firm believer in Catholic Healthcare’s Mission of ‘living life to the full’ and does this by supporting clients, families and colleagues to seek out the best for their individual situations.
In her daily life at work Kelly tries to show empathy and kindness to her clients, families and their colleagues.
“I like to treat others as I would like to be treated,” says Kelly. “I always strive to be open-minded, upfront and accessible.”
“Kelly goes above and beyond to provide service to both staff and clients,” says Narelle, Home & Community Services Regional Manager. “She has been with us for over five years and during this time has continued to expand her knowledge and skills. She will always take anything on with a smile.”
When it comes to the Catholic Healthcare Values – the one which resonates with Kelly is Excellence.
“I like to take ownership of any issues as they arise, following them through to reach the most ideal solution possible,” says Kelly. “This involves supporting various locations and Care Advisors and often involves a ‘boundarylessness’ attitude.”
Kelly is proud of her adaptive and multi-disciplinary approach to work, and thoroughly enjoys performing her role supporting a diverse range of people and clients.
