The Brighton Retirement Village in Croydon recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary. Residents came together to celebrate their wonderful community, reminiscing on their many wonderful memories and the friendships made.
Members of Catholic Healthcare’s Executive Leadership team, including CEO Josh McFarlane and special guest Mayor of Burwood John Faker, were in attendance.
The Brighton Retirement Village holds a very special place in Catholic Healthcare’s history. When construction began back in 2013, at the time, it would be Catholic Healthcare’s largest retirement community. As Catholic Healthcare celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2014, it also opened the Brighton Retirement Village, with the official blessing and opening occurring in 2015.
'I've been part of this vibrant, caring and compassionate community since September 2016, and it has been a blessing to be included as family and to enjoy the retirement journey with so many. Ten years is a milestone in any anniversary and today we celebrate our community that has changed and grown over this time,' said Sarita Graham, Village Manager.
Congratulations to the residents and team members at The Brighton Croydon on 10 marvellous years!
