‘A father is someone you look up to no matter how tall you grow.’ — Unknown
Fathers play a unique role in our lives. They teach us, protect us, and provide refuge when things get tough. And it's a privilege to return for their love and support whenever possible.
This Father’s Day, impersonator Elvis visited the residents at MacKillop Park Norwest. Pleasantly, Elvis left the building only after delighting our dads with his timeless tunes, serenading them over delicious potato wedges and ice-cold beer and wine. Our residents were all smiles, especially when their photos were taken in the themed photo booth. The lifestyle team, dressed up in their special costumes, made the environment even more cheerful.
Over at St Hedwig Village, dads were celebrated in style with ‘best dad’ signs flagging their extra special cupcakes replete with a cherry on top! Each of our male residents received a lovely Father's Day gift, filling the day with happiness and laughter for all around.
As Father’s Day ended for another year, it was a joy for our families and employees to join in and make our resident fathers feel precious across all our homes.
