Emmaus Village, Vincentian, Bethlehem House, Gertrude Abbott Aged Care, The Sister Anne Court, St Hedwig Village, Holy Spirit Casula and MacKillop House Norwest were among the first residential aged care homes to be visited by our Catholic Healthcare pop-up ‘Thank You’ coffee and doughnut cart, which will be on the road around Sydney over the next few weeks.
At each cart, Leadership Team members will be there in person to meet our amazing frontline heroes, share some treats and say a personal thank you for the incredible dedication and support our teams have shown for residents, families and colleagues through the challenges of the pandemic.
“Aged care employees have been absolute heroes through the pandemic, and they continue to go above and beyond to support our residents, their families and colleagues,” said Josh McFarlane, Chief Operating Officer.
“At Catholic Healthcare, we know that our team is our greatest asset, so we want to recognise their efforts in every way possible – including celebrating with a great cup of coffee and a special treat!”
While the coffee cart won’t make it to every location, there will be special thank you celebrations planned for all homes and services across our regions in the coming year.
