Catholic Healthcare staff on the frontline were delighted to receive MooGoo pamper gift packs in recognition of their dedication, compassion and commitment through Covid-19.
Andrew Kinkade, General Manager, Residential Care organised the gifts on behalf of the Leadership Team, thanking staff for supporting residents, families and each other during what has been an extremely challenging year.
“Our frontline staff have enriched lives and inspired all of us,” says Andrew.
“Staff used their creativity to develop new virtual activities and ensure residents and families stayed connected. Families have commended our staff’s kindness, attentive support and constant communication through Covid-19.”
Angie, a Registered Nurse at Holy Spirit Croydon, was delighted to receive her gift.
“It has been a challenging year for us, but early on we realised we had to work together and support each other,” says Angie. “We would like to thank Catholic Healthcare for appreciating our hard work during Covid-19.”
“Receiving the gift and flower from my manager was a really lovely surprise,” says Marina, Administration Coordinator at Holy Spirit. “It gave me a strong feeling of being appreciated. This year has been extremely challenging for me in my admin position. Covid has impacted on my work-load tremendously and receiving this did make me smile and feel my efforts were appreciated.”
“Working during the pandemic was very difficult but by working hand in hand and showing support to each other, we were able to conquer each day,” says Jannet, Recreational Activities Officer.
